MRE Engineering Operator is responsible for executing DET Guzik and QMT testing activities, supporting production and engineering operations through accurate data collection, analysis, troubleshooting, and tester buyoff. This role ensures test quality, equipment readiness, and timely data reporting to support continuous manufacturing performance and quality improvement.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform all types of DET Guzik & QMT testEnsure no delay in DET testing and that the test results are available on timeBuyoff measurement result is shown consistent and stable to meet Test CriteriaCompile and upload data to Online SPC timely to meet expected Test TATContinuously update all test request and other necessary trackingReceive from previous shift and pass down information to next shift clearlyPerform head change whenever requiredPerform tester conversion buyoff and tester troubleshootingSupport data package compilation for NPI, SMO, Time Slice and by request.Support reference & head issuance and inventory managementSupport reference generates and head screening activitiesPerform and maintain MRE lab 7S and follow all safety and health rulesCarry out all jobs/tasks as assigned by EngineersPN1-PN2 cross plants travelling to support whenever requiredAble to work in cleanroom environment and rotating shift pattern 12 hourlyAble to support different shift and work location as assigned REQUIRED:Technical cert, SPM or equivalent1-2 Years working experience in manufacturing environment with machine operation, data collection & analytical skills are preferred.Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook). Macro in excel would be an added advantageEffective team player with proven relationship building & communication skills, including cross-functionally with Production, Process, Yield, and Quality.PREFERRED:Working experiences in sputter/MRE metrology tool and knowledge of Magnetic materials used in HDD would be an added advantage.Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook).
