EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in agriculture economics, finance, business administration, or other related business field Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in banking or financial services involving credit extension, credit underwriting, analysis of commercial and capital markets portfolios. Comprehensive knowledge of lending, structuring and market pricing concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. JOB SUMMARY The Portfolio Manager provides relationship management and credit support to Relationship Managers, including origination, structuring, execution, and monitoring of Capital Markets transactions. Responsible for working with the Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts on associated internal credit, research, and financial modeling functions. Supports the achievement of profitability and credit goals for the division through day-to-day management of account relationships. The Portfolio Manager supports overall lending relationships of Relationship Managers in the Capital Markets sector. Manages a portfolio of purchased and directly-originated sold loans as the secondary officer, which includes coordination of the Credit underwriting team and Relationship Managers. Responsibilities include review of supporting credit underwriting team's work, preparing and managing loan modification/amendment requests, term conversion, legal document review, reviewing and processing fixed rate conversion requests, interfacing with partners (Farm Credit and Commercial Bank partners), interfacing with internal stakeholders, including Risk, Credit Approvals, Capital Markets, and Legal.
