We are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple small-scale capital improvement, renovation, and infrastructure projects ($1MM-$20MM+) with a highly technical operational environment with a leading technology client in Milpitas, CA. This individual will manage projects from planning through completion, coordinating with internal stakeholders, design consultants, and vendors to ensure successful execution while minimizing impacts to ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple concurrent projects, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to effectively navigate complex stakeholder environments. Must have R&D lab and cleanroom experience with strong knowledge of MEP systems. Experience supporting infrastructure, technology, or mission-critical facilities is preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
  • Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
  • Manage the on-site project stakeholders.
  • Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
  • Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members.
  • Develop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan.
  • Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with cost management group for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
  • Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and tangible documents.
  • Drive the permitting process by designing team documents to be submitted to various local, state, and federal agencies and ensure the applicable permits are moving through the process efficiently.
  • Ensure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and client's design standards.
  • Prepare cost and revenue projections.
  • Perform Constructability Review to determine the reasonability of a build plan.
