Join our family.The RoleLeads the Quality Control function throughout new build workboat projects to ensure all products comply with Damen quality standards, project specifications, and classification society requirements. Coordinates quality activities across departments, manages the Quality Control team, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to deliver projects with the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the Quality Control Engineers across multiple projectsTo ensure preparation and follow-up the project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)Ensure compliance with Damen quality standards, technical specifications, and classification society requirementsCoordinate inspections, certifications, and final acceptance activities with Classification Societies Monitor quality performance, identify improvement opportunities, and report quality metricsSupport Project Managers and Project Engineers by providing technical quality guidanceManage quality documentation and ensure proper recording of inspection resultsCoordinate quality resources across ongoing projects and support production during inspections, sea trials, and inclining testsPromote quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organizationSkills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine EngineeringMinimum 8 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry (mandatory)Applications from candidates without shipbuilding experience will not be consideredMinimum 3 years of hands-on Quality Control experience in the shipbuilding industry (mandatory)Strong knowledge of shipbuilding quality systems, inspection processes, and Classification Society requirementsExperience working with Classification SocietiesProven leadership, planning, analytical, and communication skillsFluent in EnglishOther RequirementsBased in or willing to relocate to AntalyaWilling to travel abroad when requiredNo military obligation (for male candidates)Recruiter:Burcu GökçekEmail:burcu.gokcek@damen.comPlease apply through the Apply Button.
