Senior Manager, Corporate Relations
The Senior Manager, Corporate Relations, is responsible for raising money from corporate sources for ACOG and the ACOG Foundation’s educational and training initiatives. Working with the Senior Director of Philanthropy, they will execute a growth plan for corporate giving and implement strategies to drive year-over-year net growth in revenue and the number of donors. The Senior Manager helps plan and secure funding for several ACOG initiatives, including many that are held at the ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting (ACSM) and the Annual District Meetings (ADMs), as needed. They oversee the department’s industry-funded activities – from prospecting and soliciting traditional and non-traditional sources of funding, through the reconciliation of gifts and interim/final reporting back to donors. This role is ideal for an experienced fundraiser who is committed to advancing ob-gyn health and who thrives in a mission‑driven, outcomes‑oriented environment. Note: This position is considered Hybrid and will need to commute to ACOG's office located in Washington, D.C. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a mentor for other positions in the department. Duties/Responsibilities: Prospect Research: Identify industry prospects aligned to ACOG and ACOG Foundation priorities (maternal health, reproductive health, training, education, research, health equity, etc.). Strategy & Pipeline Development: Build and execute annual and multiyear strategies to secure corporate grants and sponsorships; develop a diversified pipeline across discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship stages. Track and report annual corporate revenue for both ACOG and the ACOG Foundation. Proposal Leadership: Lead concepting and proposal development (sponsorship applications, grant proposals, including narratives and budgets) in collaboration with clinical/practice, education, health policy, DEI, finance/compliance teams, among others. Stewardship & Reporting: Manage deliverables, outcomes tracking, and narrative/financial reports; ensure grant terms, branding, and acknowledgment requirements are met for each industry donor. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry donors; prepare briefings and talking points for executive and volunteer leadership for major industry supporters. Revenue Forecasting: Own a corporate revenue target; maintain accurate projections and pipeline health metrics in Raiser’s Edge/AirTable. Travel: Travel to funder meetings, conferences, and ACOG events. Cycle Planning & Administration: Help manage all sponsorship/grant cycles (eligibility, timelines, application portals, financial tracking).
