Senior Manager, Corporate Safety and Security (APAC)
About the Team DoorDash is one of the world's most trusted on-demand logistics platforms. The Global Safety and Security team exists to keep it that way, protecting our people, property, operations, brand, and reputation across all our markets. We manage risk and create value through agility, technology, and a people-first approach. Our DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt brands now span more than 40 countries, dozens of offices, and tens of thousands of employees. APAC is one of our most dynamic regions, with a fast-growing footprint and Hyderabad serving as a major strategic hub. As the Corporate Safety and Security function scales globally, the region needs dedicated, senior leadership on the ground to build and run it. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Manager to lead and build our Corporate Safety and Security function across the APAC region. You will be the senior-most Corporate Safety and Security leader in the region and the single point of accountability for the program across all APAC corporate facilities. Where regional conditions demand something the global model does not yet cover, you surface those requirements and help shape the standard. Your program ladders directly into the global function's objectives and key results. The function is organized around five pillars: physical security infrastructure and operations; emergency preparedness and response; threat assessment and workplace violence prevention; safety, compliance, and risk management; and security awareness, training, and culture. You will own all five across the region, implementing them in step with the global roadmap and largely standing them up where they do not yet exist. You will translate the global roadmap into a regional plan, build and lead a high-performing APAC team, manage regional vendors and budget, and drive measurable outcomes across each pillar. The role blends operational leadership with hands-on execution. You will determine the methods and procedures to deliver the program in-region, delegate across your team, hold vendors and facilities to the program's standards, and own the function's priorities and performance in APAC. Success in the first year means APAC has a functioning operating model aligned to global standards, a regional team taking shape, and measurable progress across all five pillars. This role requires strong domain expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence leaders across a fast-moving, globally distributed organization. You will partner closely with regional and global count...
