Job Description Summary:Develop, progress, and track pre-construction and all construction job schedules including self-perform work to maintain timely and profitable job completion. Prepare schedule and productivity impact changes and claims. Support with negotiations of changes, develop analytics, and mentor Schedulers and team members in Division(s).Job Description:Position Responsibilities and Duties:Able to perform all essential Scheduler responsibilitiesAssist with developing scheduling department procedures and scheduling best practicesEnsure project teams follow best practices in schedule updating processPrepare, update, and validate quality of preconstruction and baseline schedules and narrativesIndependently support project teams managing project schedulesVerify schedule detail for accuracy and company standards on project basisPrepare, update, and validate quality of proposal schedules and narrativesAttend project kick off and interim reviews as necessaryPrepare, update, and validate quality of month end schedules and narrativesReview, develop, and report KPIs, data analytics for labor productivity, financial and scheduling metricsCross checking activity durations with labor productivity rates to verify production goalsPrepare forensic schedule analysis for detailed cause and effect delay claims analysisPrepare claims for mediation and make supportive forensic analysis for settlement negotiationsPrepare project delay, disruption, and acceleration damagesSupport negotiations of delay and labor productivity changesPrepare project specific recovery/acceleration plan schedule as required under the contractPartner with Teams on protecting and/or preserving rights to recovery of claimsPrepare cross region third party scheduling reviewsAssist with developing and reporting scheduling metrics, status, and project health to division managementOversee P6 database management and activity codingAssist with developing and conducting scheduling trainingsTrain teams in company scheduling best practices including change orders and labor productivityAssist with training and development of schedulers and assistant schedulersFull comprehension of company cost management systemsFully comprehends and provides council on scheduling changes, notice, and scheduling requirementsUnderstands and evaluates the financial projections of projectsPerform and verify cost and resource loading in P6 schedules on project(s) basisSupervise and develop BI analytics for labor and scheduling metricsCollaborate with Estimating, VDC, Safety & QualitySupport client interview needs and attend as requestedPerform P6 & hands-on schedule trainings and assist with developing trainingsComplete other responsibilities as assignedMinimum Requirements or Experience RequirementsEngineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent10 years of construction experience including 5+ years scheduling experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with construc...
