ABOUT THIS ROLE As a Sensor Integration Engineer II, you'll own the setup, configuration, testing, and validation of the advanced camera and sensor systems at the heart of LVT's hardware portfolio. You'll lead qualification across diverse sensor types—PTZ cameras, radar, thermal detection, and field-of-view analysis—building the test plans and QA processes that guarantee every unit performs in the field. Your work directly shapes product reliability for customers and defines how LVT scales sensor validation across manufacturing and deployment. LVT is a flexible-first company, but this is an in-office role based in our American Fork, Utah facility, where you'll collaborate hands-on with Hardware Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Own the end-to-end setup, configuration, and integration of camera and sensor systems—including PTZ, thermal, and radar—across LVT's hardware platforms. Lead hands-on testing and qualification of sensors to ensure performance standards hold across operational conditions, troubleshooting failures and documenting root causes. Build and execute structured QA processes, including comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases that scale across products and firmware revisions. Validate camera performance in real-world conditions—field of view, image quality, detection range, and night performance—and translate findings into actionable engineering feedback.
