By joining us, you’ll play a key part in protecting consumers, driving economic growth, and shaping the future of UK finance services. The Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) division enables the FCA to be a digital-first, data-led smart regulator by delivering a secure, agile, and cost-effective technology and data ecosystem that drives better decisions, transparency, and operational efficiency.Sitting within DTI, the Core Technology team delivers the foundational capabilities and services that underpin the day to day running of the FCA.Role responsibilitiesAct as the technical authority for the ServiceNow platform, providing technical guidance that enables teams and stakeholders to make informed decisions and deliver effective solutionsDefine the future direction of the platform by producing and presenting clear architectural designs that support scalability, stability and business outcomesImprove quality and reliability by reviewing proposed solutions and recommending improvements before release into production environmentsEnhance platform performance through monitoring, identifying opportunities to improve health, efficiency and user experienceAdvance continuous improvement initiatives by turning optimisation opportunities into deliverable work items and supporting their effective implementationResolve complex platform challenges by providing support, identifying root causes and enabling long-term fixes that minimise recurring issuesDeliver high-value enhancements through the development and deployment of solutions that enhance platform performance and support ongoing operational excellenceSkills required Minimum:Proven experience on ServiceNow platform with knowledge of new technologies in Service NowProven experience as an architect, delivering high-level technical designs, architecture artefacts and roadmap governance, with demonstrable experience of designing and implementing multiple technology solutions from concept through proof of concept to production deploymentEssential:Ability to provide technical leadership on complex requirements, translating business needs into scalable solutions and developing proof of concepts to validate designsExperience converting complex technical initiatives i...
