Supply Chain Management Specialist (m/f/d)

Mission Brief  As a Supply Chain Management Specialist in our direct procurement team, you will handle the company’s supply of products for our launch vehicle and our launch pad. Your responsibilities will include negotiating supplier agreements; company purchases and deliverables. You will issue purchase orders, monitor timely delivery and optimize the stock. You will be part of a passionate team and work with highly motivated colleagues across other teams/departments.  Your Role in Our Space Mission:  Collaboration and discussion with other internal departments to ensure clarity of the technical specifications and expectations of the company  Negotiation with external suppliers to secure advantageous terms with a win-win approach, both at a technical and commercial level  Creation and follow up of purchase orders according to internal production needs  Monitoring of delivery schedule and due date PO to ensure on time arrival of goods  Assessment and management of supplier performance, assessment of delivery risks and initiation of continuous improvement programs  Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, conditions and service levels  Qualification Checklist  Degree in Engineering or Business (with strong focus on technology) At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industries Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, project-driven environment Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines  Problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities   Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to evolving project needs and assigned tasks Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and German Bonus Skills Prior experience with SAP S4 HANA or similar ERP systems is an advantage  Benefits  Employee Participation Program: Share in our success through our virtual company share program 30 days of vacation: Enjoy the days off to relax and recharge Company pension plan: Secure your future with our company pension plan, featuring a 20% employer contribution after the probation period Subsidised lunch: Stay energised with delicious, subsidised lunches every day Public transport ticket: Commute with ease using a fully financed Deutschlandticket Sport Clubs membership: Stay fit with our sponsored sports club memberships (EGYM Wellpass) Individual learning allowance: Grow your skills with an individual learning budget granted after the probation period Childcare allowanc...
