Temporary Admissions Services Representative
Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Admissions Services, the Admissions Services Representative is part of a team responsible for representing the front line for Admissions communications via email and phone calls.
The Admissions Services Representative will typically answer a high-volume number of calls and emails throughout the day. These calls and emails range from general inquiries about Berklee, to detailed questions about the application process, including how/where to submit application materials. Some outgoing calls to applicants will be required to support the college’s recruitment efforts.
A strong understanding of Admissions policies, deadlines and procedures is required, in addition to knowledge about Berklee’s academic offerings
Capabilities required include
1) Organizational Skills - ability to complete multiple tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail
2) Communication Skills - Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner; ability to work well with others in a close working environment and assist faculty/staff with material requests. Excellent phone demeanor.
3) Understanding of the college’s policies, deadlines and related Admissions information.
Pay Rate: $20/hour
