Warehouse Manager - Schiller Park, IL Join the A&C Plastics Team! A&C Plastics has been a trusted leader in the plastics industry for over 50 years, and we're continuing to grow. We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Illinois warehouse operations and help us continue delivering exceptional service to our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, developing department leaders, driving safety and operational excellence, and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time. Hours: Monday โ€“ Friday, 7:00 a.m. โ€“ 4:00 p.m. Location: Schiller Park, Illinois Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Monthly Bonus Opportunity + Benefits What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse while ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to warehouse supervisors and team leaders. Oversee shipping, receiving, pulling, packaging, inventory, freight, and local delivery operations. Ensure customer orders are picked, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. Monitor warehouse productivity, quality, safety, and operational KPIs. Develop and coach future warehouse leaders through ongoing training and mentorship. Maintain proper staffing levels and cross-training throughout the warehouse. Lead inventory accuracy efforts, cycle counts, and physical inventories. Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve customer and operational issues. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, OSHA requirements, and warehouse procedures. Oversee warehouse equipment, vehicles, and facility maintenance. Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Assist with freight coordination, routing, and special projects as needed. Build and maintain working relationships with local vendors. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse management or distribution leadership experience required. Experience leading supervisors or multiple warehouse departments preferred. Forklift experience is a plus. Clean driving record required. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Ability to motivate others while holding team members accountable. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Experience with inventory management and ERP systems. Must be at least 20 years old. Willing to travel to Houston, Texas, 2-3 times per year. Strong attendance, reliability, and sense of urgency.
