We use Authorisation to help deliver our public offer, and as a tool to protect consumers from the harm that can be caused by bad conduct in the financial services industry.   The Register and Authorisations Services (R&AS) department builds confidence in Authorisations' decision making, systems, processes, data and platforms. Our integrated, high-quality services enable effective determinations, and a strong firm and consumer offer by providing operational rigour, insights and capability development, managing policy, frameworks and process change and improving our data, digital products and technology.   Role responsibilities  Support work across the Capabilities and Controls team across a range of operational functions, including governance, risk, controls, quality assurance, business improvement and implementation Work with colleagues across different teams to understand operational issues, identify themes and support practical improvements Make sure actions, risks, decisions and dependencies are clearly owned, tracked, progressed and followed through Use sound judgement to prioritise activity, spot where issues need attention and escalate matters appropriately Support governance forums, including preparing updates and papers, coordinating inputs and ensuring clear follow-up on agreed actions  Support the division’s approach to risk and controls by helping teams identify, assess and manage operational risks in a proportionate way  Skills required   Minimum: Experience working with stakeholders across different teams or functions, supported by cl...
