About the Team/RoleThe Operations Specialist, COBRA is responsible for plan setup, maintenance of plan structure and member accounts for COBRA and Direct Bill. This role is also responsible for processing files, forms, and payments at the member level.  Must have product, system, file and technical knowledge and experience.How you’ll make an impactMust adhere to security policiesMaintain detailed knowledge in function area(s) related to COBRA and Direct BillServe as an internal resource, troubleshoot questions and provide issue resolution using product, file and system knowledgeServe as a knowledgeable contact for internal departmentsCommunicate with other teams and employers through case management to resolve account discrepanciesResponsible for solving cases and resolving tier 3 escalationsCreate, update and maintain member plans and balancesCreate, update and maintain employer plansProcess incoming files and accurately report errorsFacilitate peer training when requestedIdentify trends to improve employer's, consultant's, partner’s and third-party vendor's experienceEnsure requests made by internal departments, consultants, brokers and employers are resolved in a timely mannerAttend regularly scheduled one on one meetings with direct supervisor for professional development and goal settingWork with your team, other departments and case management employer communication to ensure a positive customer experienceCreate efficiencies and improve processes for employers, consultants and third-party vendorsMaintain a continuous improvement approach to workParticipate in ongoing learning, development opportunities and sharing of knowledgeMaintain attendance and punctuality standardsMaintain expected quality and performance metricsMust participate in team meetings and one on ones via video and phoneAssist with special projectsAll other duties as assigned Continually work on improving departmental workflow Maintain policy according to HIPAAExperience you’ll bringMinimum Required Qualifications for ConsiderationPreferred QualificationsMust pass a successful background investigationExperience with computer proficiencyExperience with Section 125, HIPAA and HITECH RegulationsExperience with administrative software, computer proficiency and 10 key/keyboardThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
