Provide expert advice on long-term goals, project prioritization, and complex capital investments. The role is responsible for overseeing a multi-disciplinary team and manages high value projects that have significant public interest. Coordinates with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders and presents project updates to leadership, elected officials, and the public. SCHEDULE: This position operates on a Hybrid working schedule, typically working 4 days a week, 40 hours a week. COMPENSATION: Hiring Range: $111,320-$144,713 USD Annually Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Serve as principal advisor to leadership and officials on project scope, cost estimating, and design and construction oversite. Responsible for connecting high-level strategic planning with day-to-day execution.Oversee and manage construction and multi-disciplinary capital projects by assigning work, setting priorities, and ensuring accountability for staff, consultants, and contractors. Monitor performance to ensure compliance with project plans, schedules, budgets, and regulations. Provide guidance, feedback, and issue resolutions to maintain quality, safety, and timely project delivery. Develop and manage the annual capital budget and oversee implementation of the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, ensuring alignment with approved budgets. Prepare and present budget reports, forecasts, and funding recommendations.
