Join our Clinical Team at Pyramid Healthcare, where we provide compassionate individual and group therapy in a collaborative, team-oriented environment! Our Harford Inpatient program offers tailored treatment paths for both men and women facing challenges with substance use, including methamphetamine and other stimulants, co-occurring disorders, and opioid addiction through our methadone maintenance program. Under the guidance of a dedicated leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare fosters a supportive environment designed to empower clients at every stage of recovery. We believe in helping individuals reclaim their health and well-being, providing them with the tools and strength to overcome life's challenges.     Role Overview: As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in our residential treatment facility. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver both individual and group therapy sessions. Your expertise will help guide clients through their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to achieve lasting change.     Specific Responsibilities: Collaborate daily with the engagement team during flash meetings to clarify responsibilities for the day/shift. Conduct clinical level of care assessments for individuals presenting for residential treatment. Explain and facilitate the signing of admission paperwork, including consent for treatment, initial treatment plans, and releases of information. Ensure a seamless admission process by maintaining clear documentation and notifying team members for next steps, including authorization and electronic medical record registration. Perform other duties as assigned.     Licensure, Education, & Experience: Trainee status with the MD Board of Professional Counselors & Therapists, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, or higher certification and/or active Maryland LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C licensure required.
