Roles & Responsibilities As Head of Electrical Engineering, AI Factory Development at Firmus, you will lead the electrical engineering discipline across every site where Firmus is building and scaling an AI Factory. This is a principal-engineer-equivalent management role within the Build group, accountable for the consistent, high-quality implementation of Firmus's reference electrical design across our global site portfolio. The role sits within AI Factory Development (Build) and reports to the Head/Director of AI Factory Engineering. You will lead a distributed team of site-based electrical engineers across Indonesia, Australia, and any future geography where Firmus is active. Your remit is delivery, governance, and technical assurance of the electrical design in construction, commissioning, and handover — not ownership of the reference design itself, though you will be a primary and continuous input into the reference design's evolution. This is a central leadership role. You are the single accountable owner for electrical engineering execution across the Firmus AI Factory estate, the escalation point for electrical technical issues in the field, and the guardian of design intent from tender through energisation. You will work in tight partnership with the reference design owners, the Mechanical and Thermal, Controls, and Physical Networking Heads, and with Construction, Commissioning, and Operations to ensure every site is electrically built, tested, and handed over to standard.
