Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with other nurses, providers, and caring professionals as a team member. Exhibit strong multitasking, decisiveness, and excellent problem-solving skills. Communicate effectively with other disciplines to meet client needs, monitor charts, and implement action plans. Review and adhere to detox protocols. Assist staff during high-volume shifts by prioritizing tasks and organizing unit scheduling. Provide orientation for new nurses as needed. Maintain medical equipment. Conduct medical lectures for clients as required. Administer medications and complete the Medication Administration Record (MAR). Perform necessary lab tests (HCG, urine, BAC, glucometer). Administer IM and SQ medications, including Narcan as needed. Ensure labs are addressed, reviewed, and that physician orders are obtained and transcribed. Follow proper consent procedures. Participate in Performance Improvement Projects. Address staff development needs and ensure records are current. Complete nursing competency evaluations. Adhere to Evidence-Based Practice guidelines. Engage in continued nursing training and attend monthly meetings for professional development. Conduct nursing assessments, create treatment plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, follow detox protocols, and assist medical providers as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
