Someone who keeps up with the industry, is genuinely curious about new technologies, and brings that curiosity into their daily work. A team player who contributes to shared goals, takes ownership of driving problems toward resolution and engages the right people when needed, and sees every incident through to full resolution - not just mitigation.WHAT YOU'LL DOOffice network support - Maintain and support the network infrastructure of the office, its connectivity to other offices, and plan and build network infrastructure when offices expand.VPN support - Configure, maintain, and support VPN solutions for site-to-site connectivity and remote employee access.Linux infrastructure management - Own the Linux system lifecycle across office infrastructure: provisioning, configuration management, security hardening, and day-to-day troubleshooting. Maintain and support virtualisation and container host environments running on RHEL-based systems.Server room operations - Work hands-on in the server room: manage and maintain physical infrastructure including structured cabling (SCS), UPS systems, and rack equipment. Ensure physical layer reliability and documentation.Network upgrades and testing - Plan and execute network upgrades, perform testing to validate reliability and performance before and after changes.User support via service desk - Handle network-related requests and incidents within the company's service desk platform, providing timely resolution for end users.Monitoring and incident response - Oversee monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve incidents, identify potential issues proactively, and implement preventive measures.On-call duty - Participate in on-call rotation to ensure coverage for critical incidents outside regular business hoursCollaboration - Work closely with NetOps team colleagues to jointly deliver network connectivity solutions, share knowledge, and drive incidents through to full resolution.Documentation -...
