Complete nursing assessments, reassessments, and related clinical documentation for admissions and ongoing treatment needs. Administer medications and monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and client response to treatment. Monitor and implement withdrawal management protocols, including completion of COWS, CIWA, and other clinical assessment tools as applicable. Provide medication education, health education, and nursing support to clients and families as appropriate. Coordinate and support physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical providers during assessments, medication management appointments, and treatment planning activities. Monitor client health status and communicate significant clinical findings, concerns, and changes in condition to appropriate treatment team members.
