Sitting in Specialist Directorate, this role is supporting the organisation’s lead specialist on fraud policy. You will help shape and deliver high-profile, technically complex fraud policy workstreams, provide expert advice across the organisation, and influence external partners to drive joined-up, cross-system approaches to preventing fraud and combating financial crime.Role responsibilitiesLead and deliver fraud policy workstreams, undertaking research, analysing regulatory developments, and producing evidence-based policy recommendations to inform decision-makingProvide specialist fraud policy expertise by delivering technical advice, policy analysis, briefings, and guidance to colleagues across the organisationSupport the development of fraud policy, assessing emerging fraud risks, regulatory changes, and market trends to help shape the organisation's strategic approachCoordinate stakeholder engagement activities, working with government bodies, industry representatives, and regulatory partners to support fraud-related initiatives and policy outcomesBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring a coordinated approach to policy development and implementationContribute to team capability and knowledge sharing, supporting colleagues through collaboration, mentoring, and the dissemination of best practice and policy insightsSkills requiredMinimum:Prior experience of drafting or shaping policyPrior experience of financial crime and financial crime landscapeDemonstrable stakeholder engagement skillsEssential: Experience of leading projects and supporting othersSolid analytical skills, including ability to analyse complex quantitative and qualitative data, draw reason...
