Participates in all phases of the development life-cycle from initial requirements gathering and design to coding and testing of our suite of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based products.Job Description:Primary ResponsibilitiesParticipates in all phases of the software development life-cycle from requirements gathering and design to coding and testing with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment (Development Leads, Architects, Quality Engineers, DBAs, etc.)Develops the data layer using modern software languages in a cloud-native environmentUtilizes AI accelerator tools (i.e. Github Copilot) in their day-to-day software development tasksLeverages Large Language Models (LLMs) of various types in the implementation of applicationsDemos newly developed capabilities to peers/leaders of the organizationMentors junior developersDevelops basic but highly-functional user interfaces for internal useFollows industry best practices for software developmentQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent6+ years development experience in an enterprise development environment or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the roleExperience working with Typescript, node.js and PythonExperience working with various data storage solution types (i.e. object storage, key-value, relational) and efficient write/access patterns for themDemonstrable understanding of modern AI foundational models, prompt engineering strategies and common patterns for utilizing LLMs in production applications (i.e. RAG)Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) deployment patterns, particularly platform agnostic tools like TerraformPlus: Experience developing serverless applications in a cloud environmentPlus: Experience working with event-driven orchestration patterns and technologiesPlus: Experience working with healthcare dataPlus: Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Ability to work with the Agile software development methodologyFundamental knowledge of software development lifecycles and their utilization in software projectsSolid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work constructively in a collaborative t...
