Employees must be available for collaboration during core hours from 9am to 2pm (PST). ABOUT THE ROLE This is a part-time position, scheduled to work 20 hours per week. Candidates must reside in the state of California.The Clinical Coordinator, School of Education is the liaison for the University and school districts for placing credential candidates in clinical settings. The Clinical Coordinator oversees and maintains the University Clinical Supervisors assignments. In coordination with the Assistant Director of Clinical Practice, the Clinical Coordinator will arrange and be the leader in arranging, developing, and delivering fieldwork orientations for education credential candidates. The Clinical Coordinator will serve as a liaison with School of Education designees, working closely with education program faculty and staff to assure comprehensive service to credential candidates.TYPE OF SUPERVISION:  Receive general supervision from the Assistant Director, Clinical Practice.General Supervision — indicates that the incumbent performs a variety of duties; some of which may be complex duties within established policy guidelines; and receives occasional supervision.POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Liaison with local school districts.  Identify and contact schools/districts to place student teachers and other education credential candidates, in accordance with CTC requirements.Assign University Clinical Supervisors to fieldwork studentsParticipate in training of University Clinical SupervisorsFollow up on (a) University Clinical Supervisors and their evaluations of candidates; (b) Candidates and their evaluations of University Clinical Supervisors and district supervisors, i.e., master teachers; (c) District supervisors and their evaluations of candidates and University Clinical Supervisors Conduct orientation with University Clinical Superviso...
