Apply now and join our team!More detailed information about this position follows.Salary: $82,535.00 per year plus our comprehensive benefits planWorking hours: 37.5/weekPosition type: Permanent Full-time positionAs a Mechanical Engineering Technologist you will function at an expert level and apply your knowledge, skill and experience to the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of various mechanical systems.This position will work primarily on the Institute of Advanced Medical Isotopes (IAMI) however it will involve a diverse scope including HVAC and nuclear ventilation systems, hydronic systems, fume hoods, hot cells as well as working with our existing building automation system (BAS) and work management systemsRESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate and lead mechanical system maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting tasksDesign mechanical infrastructure changes of cooling water systems, HVAC/BAS systems, and nuclear ventilationMaintain construction deficiency logs, requests for warranty services, and commissioning updatesDevelop preventative maintenance programs to meet regulatory and asset health requirements in collaboration with multiple stakeholdersLead continuous improvement projects such as equipment standardization, producing work instructions, and safety initiativesDevelop strategies for direct digital control (DDC) systemsDevelop and review design standards for use in existing and new mechanical systemsTurn user needs for additions/changes to systems into implementable requirements and designsSUPERVISION EXERCISED:The position has no reports but will review work from other technical staff in the group and will be expected to oversee external contractors and technicians, as well as provide ...
