ABOUT THE ROLE The Program Assistant provides various administrative and program support within the School of Health and Behavioral Sciences for the Social Work program. This position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students and community partners to maintain accurate records, monitor key deadlines, and support student success throughout the program.TYPE OF SUPERVISION:Receive supervision from the varies.Supervision — indicates that the incumbent performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to the supervisor’s guidelines.POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Provide administrative support for program operations and processesSupport faculty and staff with various administrative dutiesCoordinate a variety of program activities, including but not limited to communications, events, and stakeholder engagement effortsPerform data entry, information gathering and basic reporting assistance as neededMay assist with student inquiries and provide information about programMay provide administrative support related to specific program activities such as accreditation, experiential learning placements (e.g. practicums, student teaching), tracking and maintaining student program dataPerform other duties, as assignedPOSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 1 year related administrative, student services, program coordination, data tracking, or customer service experience preferredESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: General understanding of higher education program coordination, academic processes, and student support ...
